Carpet Fitters in Kent

Frequently Asked questions

How much does a carpet fitter cost?

It depends on the type of carpet you choose, as well as the size of the room. Your costs may also vary if you need additional services or products, like underlay, doorbars, and gripper strips.

We’ll provide you with a comprehensive quote so you know how much your carpet installation will cost before work begins.

Typical carpet fitting prices range from £50 to £90 per room and £70 to £120 for stairs or landing.

How long does a carpet fitting take?

Typically we can fit carpet to a room within 1-3 hours. This depends on whether the room has been cleared prior to our visit.

Do you dispose of the old carpet?

Yes we can dispose of your old carpet when fitting the new carpet.

What are the best carpet types for commercial properties?

We supply and install a wide range of carpet types for different commercial properties and their needs, and will help you find the right carpet for your specific requirements.

For example, if you need a carpet that’s soft, luxurious, and welcoming – a wool carpet might be perfect. If you want the look of wool but don’t have the budget, polypropylene carpet tiles are a great alternative.

If you need something hard-wearing and suited to high-traffic locations, synthetic carpets like nylon and polyester may be a good choice.

What are the best carpet types for residential properties?

It depends on the room. For example, wool carpets are soft, warm, and stain-resistant, making them ideal for living rooms and bedrooms.

Meanwhile, polypropylene is great for hallways and staircases as it’s hard-wearing and durable.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I found Dan via Facebook and from recommendations, it was so easy to contact him and he responded straightaway giving me some good advice based on what I was looking for. Sample’s were bought round and then I choose what I wanted, however I then changed my mind on colour and Dan was quick to sort out and get it ordered…from start to finish within a week

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m contacted Dan at DSC after having been let down by multiple carpet fitters (presumably too small a job for the to be bothered). Dan was an absolute delight to speak to, very polite and positive. Dan arranged to come and fit our vinyl flooring within a couple of days of calling him. When they arrived, they were again very polite and polite efficient and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend this company!

Dan and his team were so friendly, respectful and professional. They arrived on time, worked incredibly efficiently and took great care of our home throughout. Their attention to detail was amazing, and the quality of the fitting has completely transformed the house. They also left everything spotless before they left.

It’s so refreshing to find a company that genuinely takes pride in their work. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for new carpets. Thank you all so much, we’re absolutely delighted!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dan was recommended to me
By one of my friends as he had fitted her flooring and she couldn’t recommend him enough, so he has just done my lounge carpet and I couldn’t be more happier. He kept in contact with times and messaged me before he arrived, great workmanship and very tidy. Offered advice when I was choosing what to have. I will be having him back to do other rooms for me. Thank you Dan.
